We are an independent consulting firm working to develop solutions to changing performance requirements for a broad range of clients.
ARTEMIS Transition Partners was established as a Limited Liability Company in the Republic of Kenya in 1996. We work predominantly with organsiations in East Africa, as well as for clients in other parts of the world with interests in the East Africa region.
Our ability to consistently deliver on varied client expectations has positioned us as a preferred partner within discerning organizations passionate about their own success and that of the communities they serve.
We work with clients to position organisations for growth in competitive environments, as well as to develop capacity to respond to changing performance requirements.
Given the competitive nature of the world today, organisations and communities can only obtain enduring results if the many decisions they make day by day, are based on sound understanding of different and frequetly complex relationships.
Also, the more comprehensive the knowledge and experience on which plans are made, and the greater the discipline with which they are executed, the greater the assurance they will derive their intended outcome.
This is the landscape we work with our clients to navigate, in order that they achieve their goals and obtain enduring returns from their investments.
The changing shape of growing competition, evolving regulatory environments, and the endless race to the bottom, are just a few of the many compelling challenges that organisations are faced with in their effort to survive, remain relevant, competitive and sustainable.
Increased access to readily available, flexible and affordable funding has further lessened the advantage that big budgets give to firms that have them, and put on continued pressure on organisations to find creative means of building and sustaining competitiveness.
Shifting social, economic and political influence, technological revolutions and increased access to information are rewriting the rules of business and social behaviour in such short cycles that what you knew yesterday may barely be helpful tomorrow.
Our work is inspired by the conviction that even in such unpredictable situations, there are known ways by which achievement of desired outcomes can be optimised, uncertainties about the future reduced and their effect on human undertakings mitigated .
We are committed to ensuring that specific standards of professional excellence are maintained and correspondingly communicated to our clients, in order that they will maintain a level of control satisfactory to them on all assignments they will have contracted the firm.
These minimum standards are our
promise to our clients and are intended to provide a basis for
effective monitoring of our performance on client assignments within a
preset framework of expectations and deliverables.
The Managing Director holds the ultimate responsibility for quality and service delivery in the firm, both in respect to the firm’s internal operations and in respect to client assignments for which the firm will be contracted.
We will at all times have, at the minimum, a Senior Consultant as the lead consultant on all client assignments, who will be personally accountable for the specific performance objectives on client assignments.
Clients will at all times have free and unrestrained access to the Client Services Manager, and to the Managing Director if necessary, where for any reason they may feel the need to escalate concerns on any matter regarding their dealings with the firm at any stage of our engagement.
All client assignments that we undertake will be confirmed in advance by way of an Assignment Brief that will be sent to the client detailing the mutual performance agreements between the firm and the client , and which will be the basis on which the assignment's will be executed.
We will at all times
maintain a senior management position in the firm, Client Services Manager – or known by
any other appropriate title, directly reporting to the Managing Director, which
position will be responsible for the implementation of our promise and
the management of service delivery through the relevant quality assurance
measures in the firm.
We will clearly communicate to the client details of the persons involved in each assignment, their respective capabilities and the responsibilities that each will have been assigned. Following the client’s approval of this, at no time will we, thereafter, assign, transfer, or subcontract the assignment or any obligations within it without the client’s express approval.
Notwithstanding, the client shall have the right, at any time, to request removal of any consultant that they deem, in their sole discretion, to be unsatisfactory, and without obligation to justify their request. Upon such request, we will promptly replace such removed consultant with another, having skills and experience suitable for the satisfactory continuation and conduct of the assignment to completion.
We subscribe to the highest commitment to professional integrity and business ethics and consciously seeks to work with clients of like orientation. In this regard, we will endeavour to work strictly within the agreed Terms of Reference, with utmost objectivity and good faith and without inducement on any party to alter or otherwise deviate from the assignment's methodology or intended outcomes.
Our fee notes will provide complete supporting detail for all work done, when – by date, and how long by hours – as will be applicable, the agreed rate of billing, and the relevant tax information. Where necessary or applicable, recoverable and other expenses on the assignment will be supported by official expense receipts and be treated as separate components of the fee note.
To ensure amicable closure of client assignments, conclusion of all assignments that we undertake will be marked by a closure meeting between the the client and the Firm’s Client Services Manager and/or Chief Executive, at which the assignment’s objectives will be evaluated against its outcomes and any mismatches addressed prior to commissioning or closure.
We work for a wide range of clients, across private, profit, government and not-for-profit organizations.
Our diverse portfolio helps us to maintain balanced advisory capabilities, and ensures we maintain contact with the industries we work in.
In addition to the global perspective our work with different clients brings
to each assignment, our business mix is also the means by which we manage
concentration risk as well as the basis of our internal capacity development
strategy.
We are proud to be associated with our clients' successes most of which have set very high standards in their class.
